Hennessy Dental Lab is proud to announce the addition of Procera Zirconia to our line of esthetic restorations. We are one of the first labs in the country to have the Forte scanner, capable of scanning and fabricating full arch ceramic bridges with a yield strength of 1200 MPA which I am sure you are aware, exceeds the yield strength of porcelain to precious metal and equals porcelain to NP with none of the nasty side effects such as gingival tattooing and black margins after a short period. The Forte has proven to be even more accurate than our previous Procera scanner the Piccolo.

Procera Zirconia in combination with Nobel Rondo Zirconia Porcelain can achieve your greatest esthetic expectation and keep the occlusal wear factor as low as the low firing Lucite ceramics that have been on the market for the past 4 years. This is a serious leap on the technological front because in the past strength was equated with high firing temperatures and the accompanying surface hardness that resulted in excessive abrasion. The Rondo porcelain system has been developed by one of the worlds Great ceramists Ernst Hegenbarth in conjunction with the people at Nobel Biocare. He has spent the past 5 years creating a palate of powders that make it possible to achieve virtually any color or level of translucency that might exist in the oral environment. This is matched perfectly to the Nobel Rondo Porcelain ceramic that we have been using for the standard Procera crowns. Now regardless of the need we can produce a lifelike restoration that will match natural teeth or previously existing bridgework.

Don’t forget that we can achieve the same life-like results on implants utilizing the Zirconia custom sub-structure abutments, followed by one of these esthetic crowns on the implant and possibly on an adjacent natural tooth.
